Position: Autovol Janitorial Technician Solutioneer

Exempt/Non-Exempt: Non-Exempt

Reports to: Production Supervisor

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Janitor / Facilities Support essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following (in no particular order):

• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout a 430,000 sq. ft. manufacturing and office facility
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, conference rooms, and common areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors as required
• Empty trash and recycling containers and manage waste disposal
• Restock cleaning supplies, paper products, and consumables
• Support basic facility organization projects and continuous improvement efforts
• Identify cleanliness, safety, or maintenance issues and report them proactively
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good working order
• Work independently and manage daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning priorities
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Leadership or Supervision

• Ability to maintain consistent cleaning standards across a large facility
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
• Comfortable working in an active manufacturing environment
• Ability to problem-solve and take initiative
• Must promote and perform to company values

*Previous janitorial, custodial, or facilities experience is preferred but not required.

 

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

• Prior janitorial, custodial, or facilities support experience preferred
• Experience working in large commercial or industrial facilities is a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and lifting 50+ pounds regularly.
