Autovol is seeking an exceptional Automation Maintenance Technician Soultioneer (Entry Level) who can support our efforts to provide outstanding maintenance support and technical services to our manufacturing assembly line.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong mechanical foundation and a desire to learn new technologies. Automotive repair experience, including diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical systems, using diagnostic tools, and performing preventative maintenance, translates directly into the troubleshooting and support needed on our automated assembly systems.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The essential functions of the Automation Maintenance Technician position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Learn and support automated manufacturing systems through hands-on training
  • Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track work orders, report issues, and request parts
  • Document repairs, verify system performance, and support overall equipment reliability
  • Install, test, and replace components, including sensors, I/O devices, cabling, and electrical components
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment in accordance with company safety standards
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve equipment issues
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by leadership or supervision

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Electrical, automotive, or mechanical background through work experience, vocational training, or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems
  • Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools is preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn automation technologies
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Flexible schedule with availability for early morning, late-night, and weekend production shifts as needed

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This position requires frequent speaking, listening, sitting, use of hands and fingers, and handling objects with appropriate breaks. This is an active position that requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and regularly lifting 50+ pounds. The work environment includes a fast-paced automated manufacturing facility.
