The primary role of this position is to verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing deliveries and prepare items for shipment. Duties include assembling, addressing, stamping, and shipping material; receiving, unpacking, verifying, and recording incoming material; and arranging for the transportation of products. Successful candidates will be eager to learn, be well organized, detail-oriented, and focused on the success of the team/company as a whole.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Operate lifting devices, such as forklifts, lift beams with swivel-hooks, hoists, or elevating platforms, to load, unload, transport, or stack material, and waste disposal rotation.
• Inspect product load for accuracy and safely move items around the facility to ensure timely and complete delivery.
• Examine shipment contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy.
• Maintain plant appearance and cleanliness inside and out
• As a key member of the Procurement Department, successful candidates will function as the liaison between the production line, raw material delivery sources, and Purchasing.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to work in a team environment to complete goals while also working alone on projects.
• Must possess excellent work ethic and self-motivation.
• Must possess excellent attendance.
• Ability to accurately enter data onto Receiving, Shipping and Shipper tracking systems.
• Ability to file all paperwork correctly, in a timely manner.
• Must possess strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Must possess effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must possess basic math skills.
• Must possess basic computer knowledge (Microsoft, Outlook, and Production Software programs).
• Must be able to provide driving record and be able to be insured on the company’s insurance policy.
• One to two (1-2) years’ experience preferred.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Experience with volumetric construction

EDUCATION:

• High School Diploma or GED

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching and lifting 50+ pounds regularly.
